Federation Concert Hall.
Hobart, Tasmania

When architects and acoustic engineers set out to design Hobart’s Federation Concert Hall, sound containment and acoustic precision were non-negotiable. The venue required an envelope capable of eliminating intense external city noise while creating a pristine, balanced internal acoustic environment for world-class orchestral performances. Thermacell was specified as the structural wall system, utilising its high-density monolithic concrete core to deliver uncompromising sound isolation and prevent low- and high-frequency sound transmission.
