The new Thermacell 300 series has been designed here at ICF Systems Australia Pty Ltd. The four sizes of blocks have been designed so that the correct block may be chosen for any specific requirement. They have been designed as a result of more than 25 years’ experience in the ICF business.

Our blocks are manufactured from our own tooling by R/Max, the largest polystyrene moulders in Australia. The design of these four new blocks - the 125mm, 150mm, 200mm, and 250mm - has the latest technology built-in, resulting in the highest quality in materials fusion and overall strength.

Only the finest quality raw materials are used in our blocks. Our tooling is modern and up-to-date ... and quite expensive, but we don’t mind that because we believe that you can’t make a quality product using cheap tooling.

Thermacell blocks are made with quality and performance in mind - not just to make a cheap block.

125mm - 300 Series Block

This block is 300mm high, and 1.250 meters long. It has cells of 125mm by 125mm and can be cut into multiples of 125mm.

1 cubic meter of concrete fills approx. 20 Sq. Meters of blockwork.

Its “R” rating is 2 and has a decibel rating of 43.

This block is used mainly for internal walls and can be load bearing when using steel reinforcement to engineers specifications.

150mm - 300 Series Block

This block is 300mm high and 1.200 meters long. It has 6 cells of 200mm by 150mm wide and can be cut into multiples of 200mm.

1 cubic meter of concrete fills approx. 15 Sq. Meters of blockwork.

Its “R” rating is 2.3. This block can be used for either internal or external walls on single story buildings.

200mm - 300 Series Block

This block is 300mm high and is 1.200 long. It has 6 cells of 200mm by 200mm, and can be cut into multiples of 200mm. 1 cubic meter of concrete will fill approx. 11 Sq. Meters of blockwork.

Its has an “R” Rating of 3.1 and an estimated S.T.C rating of 48.

This block is widely used and recommended for external walls for building up to 3 storeys, retaining walls and cellars.

250mm - 300 Series Block

This block is 300mm high and 1.250 long. It has 5 cells of 250mm by 250mm, and can be cut into multiples of 250mm.

1 cubic meter of concrete will fill approx. 8 Sq. Meters of blockwork.

Its S.T.C rating is 50 and its “R” rating is 3.81

This block is used mainly for external walls of multi-story buildings, underground houses, heavy retaining walls etc.
